A group of Brera Academy students experience the lockdown of February 2020, in relation to the Covid19 pandemic, by filming their present diaristically. The filming of the portrait dedicated to painter Angelo Falmi is interrupted; enthusiasm for the experience wanes rapidly. Life, in the midst of its fragile grandiosity, takes priority over projects and aspirations: this is how filming techniques teacher Ilaria Pezone decides to reinvent the work proposal.

The Voice of Italy is the Italian version, broadcast by RaiDue, of the international format created by John de Mol among the most watched in the world and aired in as many as 62 countries. Aspiring singers are chosen through "Blind Auditions," during which coaches, from behind, listen to the contestants without being able to see them. It is only their voices that will have to win them over, and then the coach can turn around to win the contestant on the team. If more than one coach turns around, however, it will be the contestant who will decide which coach to trust. After forming teams in the Blind Auditions, each team will see its members face off in various elimination challenges until the Finale where the winner, elected by the public, will be awarded a record deal.
The Voice has many different versions, all of them highly successful abroad and in Italy: The Voice Senior, dedicated to the over-60s, airing on Rai Uno from 2022; The Voice Kids, starring children with a talent for singing, airing from 2023; and The Voice Generations, which unites different generations linked by a passion for music, airing from 2024.
